A Rare Glimpse of the Art World Behind the Scenes
In Provence and the South of France

Each year, Fine Art Connoisseur magazine leads a small, exclusive group of passionate art connoisseurs on a VIP art tour that visits the world's most well known art treasures, as well as hidden treasures, to which access is often difficult. You'll see art differently, with admittance to private collections, back room treasures, and private access to curators and collectors.

The 2019 trip will include visits to treasures in the South of France, Provence, and Nice, as we explore the influences of Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890), Paul Cézanne (1839–1906) and others in the region.
Our optional post-trip will explore the art treasures of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Trip attendees become close friends because of their common interests.
Only a few seats open up each year. Reserve yours while they are available.

A Letter to Fellow Travelers -

Dear Fellow Lovers of Art and Travel,

It’s hard to believe that a decade has passed since Fine Art Connoisseur launched its annual travel program, which brings people like you to culture-minded parts of the world to explore the very best in art and architecture. This autumn we are delighted that the main portion of our program will focus on Southern France, starting with four nights at Saint-Remy in Provence. This region is renowned worldwide for its scenic beauty, but also for the extraordinary quality of the artists and architects who have lived and worked there. Next we will head to Nice, the largest city on the French Riviera and among the most beautiful. This lively city is the ideal base for our four-night exploration of this sunny, glamorous region, with plenty of Mediterranean sea views to keep us impressed.

For our four-night post-trip, we have cooked up something surprising and special. So many of our previous guests have asked that we visit Scotland that we decided to give it a try. Those who wish can join us on a non-stop flight from Nice to Edinburgh, where we will settle in at the Scottish capital’s most prestigious hotel, located right in the heart of town. Edinburgh is filled with great art and architecture, so we will keep very busy here, adding in a few jaunts into the lovely green hills nearby.

As always, these visits will be accompanied by introductory slide lectures by Peter Trippi and by on-site guiding from seasoned art historians who live in the community.

We do hope that you can join us for some or all of these adventures, and we look forward to answering any questions you may have.

Very best wishes,

Eric Rhoads.
